Decking boards
Profiled Douglas fir sawn timber for special uses: decking boards, chalet beans, half-planed posts and sawn timber
The planing unit, equipped with planing and profiling machines, produces planed wood sections, even of large thickness (thicknesses up to 300 mm, widths up to 500 mm) and machines profiles to produce decking boards or interlocking chalets components.
For its decking boards, the Scieries du Centre selects top quality Douglas fir: after sawing, the cut pieces are planed, surface-grooved and profiled for easy assembly.
The sawmill proposes batches of decking boards made exclusively of heartwood (no sapwood).
The sawmill produces chalet beams with a range of tongue profiles that can be used for every building style.
