Sell your fir or Douglas-fir forest

Sell your coniferous forest

Would you like to tell us about your forest?

You own a forest consisting of fir, Douglas-fir or other conifers and are considering selling it? Les Scieries du Centre will support you in your decision-making process, helping you assess your project and discuss the characteristics of your forest stand.

Based in Cournon-d’Auvergne, near Clermont-Ferrand, Les Scieries du Centre has extensive experience in the field of softwood, particularly in processing French Douglas-fir.

Every forest is different. Its location, surface area, tree species, the age of its trees and its accessibility are all factors that help us better understand your project.

Would you like to sell a coniferous forest?

Selling a forest or forest stand is often an important decision for its owner.

You may be concerned following an inheritance, a family transfer, a change in your asset management plans, or simply because you would like to explore the options available for a wooded plot that you own.

If your forest consists mainly of conifers, particularly fir or Douglas-fir, you can contact Les Scieries du Centre to tell us about your situation.

An initial discussion helps us better identify the nature of your forest and the characteristics of the planned project.

The objective is simple: to gather the essential information needed to assess your request and determine what action, if any, can be taken.

Why contact Les Scieries du Centre?

Contacting a company specialising in wood processing directly allows you, above all, to present your project to a professional stakeholder in the sector.

At Les Scieries du Centre, each request must be assessed according to the information available: species present, location, characteristics of the stand, surface area and accessibility of the plot may all be important.

We deliberately avoid setting out general criteria here that apply to every situation: the characteristics of a forest can vary considerably from one property to another.

The best way to find out whether your project may be suitable for Les Scieries du Centre is therefore to send us some information.
